Heading straight to the kitchen, you grab a knife from the drawer and start getting some vegetables together. As you start peeling the potatoes, you hear Taehyung come in, sitting on the counter next to you. Your day may have been bad, but Taehyung always seems to help. He smiles back at you as he starts chopping, and you focus on peeling the carrots. Your mind wanders back to your day, and you can feel the tranquillity inside of you evaporating with every second. You close your eyes for a second, and then feel a sharp pain in your thumb.

He quickly got down on the floor behind you not saying anything and pulled you against his chest until you were leaning back into him between his legs, his head resting on top of yours, his arms tightly around you as you gasped for air, tears streaming down your face. Even though you felt like you were dying still, it was a little more bearable with him there. Once your breathing returned to normal Jin, helped you up and sat you on the bed with a blanket around your shoulders. He left briefly to get you a glass of water, passing it to you as he climbed into bed with you. You took it gratefully, leaning into his side.
As soon as he found you on the kitchen floor, clutching to the unit to steady yourself he began to panic. Instinctively he ran over, scooping you up in his arms, holding you tightly against his chest. Feeling his touch was the one thing that could ever calm you down, as he kneeled patiently, whispering to you whilst you were feeling better.
